Driver
We are looking for experienced and reliable Drivers to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time role with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, with additional weekend work available.
About the Role
You will be based in Auckland, but due to the nature of the work, you may be required to travel and work in various locations throughout New Zealand. This could involve temporary relocation to other regions, including Wellington and Canterbury.
Key Responsibilities
Operate company vehicles and deliver transport solutions and freight throughout New Zealand.
Drive your assigned vehicle safely to designated locations as instructed by the dispatcher.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance as required.
Plan travel routes and meet delivery schedules.
Document and log work/rest periods, driving hours, and retain fuel and toll receipts.
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (including size, weight, parking, and break periods) as well as company policies and procedures.
Maneuver vehicles safely into loading and unloading positions.
Collect and verify delivery instructions.
Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
Adhere to all health and safety requirements.
Perform other tasks and duties as required by the business.
About You
A minimum of 12 months of relevant, verifiable driving experience.
A current Class 4 or Class 5 driver’s licence (or equivalent).
Flexibility to meet operational demands, including shift work and overnight stays away from home.
A clean driving record.
Commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards in the workplace.
A proven track record of compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol screening.
