About the role:
Grow your career as an Electrician/Electrical fitter within our team based in either New Plymouth or Hawera.– whether you have previous high voltage experience, or if you are looking for a change from industrial work – this could be your next role. You will be responsible for the provision of electrical fitting services, including construction, maintenance and fault diagnosis/rectification of all network equipment and installations.
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
It is essential that you are an experienced Electrician or equivalent with knowledge of the power industry, with experience in Distribution or transmission and can offer:
- Relevant EWRB registration and practising licence
- Current Class 1 driver’s licence (and Class 2 preferred)
- Sound Substation knowledge of electrical test equipment, systems and procedures
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- The physical stamina required to perform manual labour, often in difficult conditions.
