About the Role
We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse to join our team in a permanent 0.8 FTE position, working four days per week on a rotating roster that includes morning, afternoon, and night shifts. Availability across all shifts is essential.
In this position, you will excel in a dynamic, team-focused nursing environment, delivering safe and effective clinical care across our 8-bed Acute Stroke Unit and 31-bed rehabilitation and specialised health services ward for older adults. Strong organisational, communication, and computer skills are essential, along with the ability to work confidently under the guidance and delegation of Registered Nurses. You will work closely with Health Care Assistants to ensure evidence-based care that supports positive patient outcomes.
About the Team/Service/ Location
You will provide compassionate care to a broad range of patients accessing specialist acute stroke and rehabilitation services. Our unit delivers inpatient, goal-directed interdisciplinary assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for individuals aged 16 and over.

About you
You will be committed to delivering safe, effective nursing care while flourishing within a supportive, collaborative team environment. Whether you are an experienced Enrolled Nurse or newly graduated, you will benefit from our Enrolled Nurse Support into Practice programme designed to help you succeed and develop your skills.
Must Haves:
- Genuine passion for being a dependable, supportive team player within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting
- Proven ability to communicate openly and collaborate respectfully with colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the relevant nursing board
- Flexibility to work all shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays) with a positive and adaptable approach
- Strong clinical skills paired with a compassionate, patient-centered attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Dedication to fostering a positive team culture and supporting peers in a busy clinical environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in acute care settings
- Experience in rehabilitation nursing
