If you are looking for some extra work or you are after lifestyle employment, we may have the job you are looking for.

No experience is necessary, with training provided, however you will need to be reasonably fit. A normal day is 12 hours where you will be on your feet for most of the time. There are varied roles both on and off the vessel from Wharf Hands to Container Lashers. There is opportunity for advancement to Hatch work or Foreperson for people with the right attitude.

Working outside in all weathers is also part of the job, so you need to be comfortable in an outdoor environment.

We typically service 1 - 2 vessels per week, usually offering between 12-36 hours of work. As vessels can arrive at any time of the day or night flexibility to work a variety of shifts over a 24/7 period is a requirement.

C3 offer an above average hourly rate with a starting rate of $30.00

To be considered for this opportunity with C3 you will need to:

  • Have flexibility to work hours over a 24/7 working week
  • Be a strong team player
  • Have strong Health and Safety awareness
  • Have good communication skills
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
  • Have a positive and reliable attitude to work
  • Be committed to a safe work environment and adhere to health & safety procedures
  • Be legally entitled to work in NZ with a valid work visa, residency or citizen status
