The Event Operations Support Officer (EOSO) role is to support and enable the effective delivery of Event Health Services within the relevant Region. The EOSO is responsible for resourcing events within the district, supporting the development and delivery of operational plans for major events, attending local stakeholder meetings, and proactively growing the capacity and capability of the volunteer and casual Event Medic workforce.
The role includes attends events in the capacity of an event medic, setting the standard for exceptional customer service and operational delivery.
The EOSO plays a key role in helping us develop and deliver our District level business strategy. You will have the support of a fantastic team, with a direct reporting line to the Operations Manager – Event Health Services in the region, have a close working relationship with other EOSOs in the local areas and liaising with the local HSSO & OSM.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience with the coordination of staff and volunteers
- Excellent communication skills
- Planning and coordination skills
- Ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal staff
- First responder qualification desirable - training can be provided for the right candidate
This position will cover hours between Monday to Sunday as needed for the role, with a requirement to be available over a larger proportion of weekends due to the nature of the events industry.
