The opportunity:
We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to fill the position of Expenditure Officer - Accounts Payable. This is a challenging and varied position which will see you managing a wide range of Accounts Payable and sundry administration tasks within the DCC's Financial Accounting division.
Key tasks of the role include but are not limited to:
- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox and ensuring that all suppliers are paid according to agreed payment terms.
- Coordinating daily corporate card reconciliations.
- Administering DCC's Approval Plus system and providing training to users.
- Ensuring that all staff expense claims are received and processed on a timely basis.
- Administering the supplier on-boarding process and ensuring that all new supplier bank accounts meet Council's verification requirements.
- Reconciling monthly supplier statements.
About you:
We are looking for confident individuals who enjoy engaging with a range of stakeholders and do not shy away from a challenge. Previous experience in finance and administration will be advantageous.
Applicants will also need a good general knowledge of IT systems and Accounting ERP systems with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word being essential.

Whilst this is a full-time position, expressions of interest for permanent, part-time work hours will also be considered.
