As a member of ASB's Transaction Monitoring team you will help protect ASB and it's customers from the impact of Financial Crime. You will contribute in a meaningful way to the protection of Aotearoa New Zealand from organised crime, modern slavery, extreme right-wing groups, and other activity which places New Zealand at risk. Mo te tūranga | About the Role:

We are on the hunt for an FCI Analyst role to join our Transaction Monitoring team. This is a role that is pivotal to supporting the team to comply with Anti Money Laundering (AML) / Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF) legislation and ASB regulatory requirements.

Along with your extensive banking or financial services experience, the following skills and experience are beneficial:

  • A naturally inquisitive and investigative mind, strong attention to detail and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working with AML/CFT legislation and policies and managing operational, compliance, financial and reputational risk.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, feel comfortable questioning things which don't seem quite right, and are able to articulate risk as it relates to financial crime.
  • Committed to delivering unbeatable customer outcomes, be able to build credibility with your team and senior stakeholders and be pro-active and confident in your ability to manage your day.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and demonstrate a focus on continuous process improvement.
