We are seeking a dynamic asset management professional to drive Council's strategic infrastructure initiatives and lead asset management excellence across our diverse operational portfolio.
As our subject matter expert, you will develop comprehensive asset management plans aligned with the Long-Term Plan, create financial models for investment decisions, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will monitor expenditure, conduct performance analysis, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and provide expert advice to leadership while building stakeholder relationships to maximise community benefit through responsible resource allocation.
To be successful in this role, you'll be someone who has:
- At least five years relevant experience in asset management, financial analysis, and strategic planning;
- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. finance, engineering, business, economics or asset management);
- Strong stakeholder relationship building and engagement skills, including experience with leadership teams, operational staff and community groups;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to present complex financial and technical information to diverse audiences;
- Proven analytical skills including lifecycle cost analysis, financial modelling and performance benchmarking;
- Knowledge of asset management principles, compliance requirements and quality assurance processes;
