About the Role:
You'll support the Garden Centre Manager by leading from the front – inspiring and guiding your team, sharing your plant knowledge, and ensuring every customer leaves with the right advice and the right product.
Whether you're recommending the perfect native shrub or helping load a bag of compost, you’ll be the go-to guru our customers trust. Think fast-paced, hands-on, and full of variety – no two days are the same!
What We’re Looking For:
You’re not just a plant lover – you’re a people person, a problem solver, and a proven team leader. You'll bring:
- A deep-rooted love for plants and gardening (3+ years Garden Centre or Landscaping experience)
- Strong leadership skills with previous experience supervising teams
- Top-tier customer service skills – friendly, helpful, and confident
- A relevant horticulture or landscaping qualification
- Physically fit and ready to roll up your sleeves
- Great time management and a team-first attitude
- Comfortable navigating modern technology and utilising handheld mobile devices to assist with inventory management
