What’s on offer?
We are looking for an experienced Group IT Technical Site Infrastructure Manager to be based in Richmond, Melbourne and play a pivotal role in leading a team of technical experts to deliver IT infrastructure to the Fulton Hogan Group business across New Zealand and Australia. Reporting to the Group IT Manager – Technology and Innovation, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the reliable, cost-effective, and secure delivery of IT site infrastructure across Australia and New Zealand. You will, also:
  • Manage 2 direct reports delivering key IT services to customers and maintain strong relationships with external service providers.
  • Support FH strategic plans and drive continual service improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical infrastructure leadership and oversee the development of enterprise technology standards, governance, and performance metrics.
  • Manage risks and opportunities, ensuring all commitments and project deliverables are met.
  • Maintain product lifecycles and ensure effective management of allocated budgets, including input into budget planning.
  • Oversee and manage key IT projects, identifying and mitigating risks throughout project lifecycles.
How will you connect with the role?
You will hold a tertiary qualification or possess equivalent experience in IT or a related discipline, complemented by at least 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure management or a similar role. You will demonstrate advanced knowledge across IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and networking, along with exceptional problem-solving abilities - particularly when working under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the capability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong leadership and performance management skills are required, as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively juggle competing priorities.
