About the role | Korero mo te turanga
As Head of Organisational Development & Talent, you'll lead a newly aligned team that brings together our organisational development and talent acquisition and management efforts across NZ Post. Reporting to the GM People Experience, this role is a key leadership position with real scope to help us shape the future of our workforce and uplift enterprise-wide performance.
You'll be accountable for setting the plan and delivering integrated OD and Talent solutions that build capability, support transformation, and strengthen culture. From embedding leadership development and DEIB initiatives, to evolving our employer brand and elevating the end-to-end candidate experience - your influence will be felt across every part of our business.
You'll also work closely with People Partners, senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure we're investing in, and have the talent and culture in place to deliver our strategy.
What you'll lead:
- Our organisation-wide OD portfolio, including leadership, DEIB, and culture activation.
- Enterprise-wide talent acquisition and management strategy.
- Employer brand positioning and the design of our employee value proposition.
- Enhancement across the full people lifecycle to drive performance and productivity.
- A connected and collaborative OD & Talent team, fostering high performance and shared purpose around creating experiences that matter for our people.
About you | Mou
You're a senior OD, Talent or People leader with a track record of shaping and delivering impactful organisational capability programmes. You think strategically, act collaboratively and lead with heart. You're equally comfortable in executive conversations as you are coaching a team or designing a scalable talent solution.
You bring:
- Deep expertise in OD and/or Talent Acquisition & Management.
- A growth mindset and experience leading people functions through transformation.
- Confidence in stakeholder engagement, influencing and senior leadership collaboration.
- A passion for building inclusive workplaces and fostering strong organisational culture.
