Ara Poutama Aotearoa Health Services is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed individual who is capable of working in a wide range of Health Care activities based at Northland Regional Corrections Facility for prisoners who have ongoing complex health and/or disability needs. Within a Primary health care setting, administering medication, triaging patients, assisting in health care delivery to patients, all under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
This is an opportunity for a Health Care Assistant with experience in health care to join a high-performing health led team who are dedicated and committed to developing and embedding a Kaupapa Maori based model of care into the heart of health services delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience working with patients who have complex health and/or disability needs.
- Level 3 Health Care Assistant certified qualification
- The ability to work collaboratively and under instruction
- A non-judgemental approach
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand
