We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build their career in HR. You’ll provide administrative and coordination support across a range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, compliance, and employee records.
Job Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to;
- Provide HR administrative support including contract generation, job description updates, maintaining personnel files, and updating organisational charts
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of HR documents and employee lifecycle processes
- Support the team with health and safety tracking, documentation, and compliance activities
- Act as a superuser of the HRIS, ensuring accuracy of employee data, inputting changes, and helping generate analytics and HR reports
- Provide administrative support in recruitment, including scheduling interviews, reference checking, and onboarding preparation
- Support payroll administration tasks as required (e.g., data checks, leave records, timesheets)
- Ensure confidentiality, consistency, and compliance in all HR processes
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR procedures and support ad hoc projects or tasks
Skills & Abilities:
- A strong interest in HR or business administration
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or similar (or working towards one)
- High attention to detail and good document handling skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word); HRIS system experience is a bonus
- Well-organised, efficient, and reliable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Discreet and professional in managing sensitive information
- Fluent in Mandarin and English

Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
