We have an opportunity for a Recruitment and HR Coordinator to join our team based in the Alexandra office. As a Recruitment and HR Coordinator you will be responsible for efficient and effective end to end recruitment for the region, working collaboratively with our managers from advertising, interviewing, on boarding, payroll, and processing weekly wages in conjunction with our corporate office, as well as managing day to day employee queries.
This is a part time, 35 hours per week, 9-month fixed term role covering maternity leave commencing late September.
In addition to the above you will:
Work with hiring managers to identify future resourcing needs for our staff.
Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and employee data.
Generate employment agreements, variations and other employee documents.
Be a trusted advisor to managers and employees, offering prompt and practical HR support.
Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture in line with our organisational values.
Coordination of recruitment and onboarding activities, from posting job adds, phone screening, and shortlisting candidates to arranging interviews and reference checking through to organising individual inductions.
Assist hiring managers with robust behavioural-based interview templates – based upon both technical and behavioural competencies for best practice selection.
Provide support and advise on employment matters and the implementation of HR policies and procedures, including leave, remuneration, benefits and performance management.
Management of relationships with external suppliers for recruitment campaigns as and when required.
Monitor and manage in conjunction with the managers any fixed term and visa end dates.
Ensure employment documentation is updated in line with changes to employment legislation.
Accountable to keep personnel files up to date and complete ensuring they are fit for audit.
You will also contribute in any other duties or projects that are reasonably requested.

We’re looking for someone with:
HR Coordinator minimum of 3 year’s experience in an HR Coordinator role.
Strong coordination skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks, pay attention to detail and be well organised.
Comfortable with current employment legislation and policies.
Comfortable with completing Individual Employment Agreements as required by the business.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Friendliness, enthusiasm and ability to work with people.
Advanced in MS Suite.
Detail focused with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of Workday is advantageous.
Employment Relations experience.
