About The opportunity | Ko te āheinga:

We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic ICT Support Officer to join our ICT Team.


In this role you’ll manage and resolve helpdesk calls and service requests efficiently, while providing first-level remote and in-person assistance for both hardware and software issues. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the procurement, configuration, and management of corporate applications and user profiles.

Collaborating closely with the wider ICT team, you’ll help analyse and solve technical challenges, translating complex IT concepts into easily understood information across the organisation.

About you | E pā ana ki a koe:

You'll be someone who has strong customer service skills and a professional, positive attitude. You’ll also have 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role or hold a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary qualification such as Microsoft, ITIL or other industry standard Certifications or Qualifications. A valid driver’s licence is also required.


You’ll also have:

  • Excellent documentation skills for maintaining up-to-date ICT policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in managing service desk operations, hardware/software troubleshooting, and application support.
  • Effective communication skills to translate complex IT concepts for various audiences.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and flexibility to keep up with the ever-changing nature of HBRC.

What we offer | Nga huanga mōu:

The salary range for this role is between $56,270 to $68,120 and will depend on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
