Jasmax is a leading, multi-award-winning architecture and design practice with studios across Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia. The role:
Jasmax is seeking a vibrant and skilled in-house barista to join its Auckland studio in Parnell, home to over 120 employees.
This role combines providing an exceptional café experience for staff and visitors with front-of-house reception support, including greeting guests, managing calls, and assisting with studio coordination. It’s a unique opportunity to contribute to a creative, design-led workplace that values community, wellbeing, and collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage our in-house cafe, preparing beverages and maintaining the café and kitchen spaces
- Create a warm and inviting front of house for our guest and internal team members
- Organise and coordinate events, travel, meetings, presentations and catering requirements
- Provide support to the receptionist, including front of house duties as necessary
- Maintain the front of house and wider office supplies and ordering
What you bring:
Previous professional barista experience and a positive, friendly and enthusiastic attitude. High levels of initiative, great problem solving, and the ability to think ahead are a must to make a positive impact every day. The willingness to tackle tasks, big or small, will set you apart. Excellent organisational and coordination skills will be utilised day to day.
Reception, administration, or team support experience within a creative/design, or professional services industry will be beneficial.
