Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity   

The purpose of the Lead Security Assurance Advisor is to deliver audits of the NZIM controls. This role places a critical connecting, enabling, and facilitating role within and across the Security team, NZTA, Te Aukaha, and externally.

You will work closely with our Security Team and Solution Architecture to ensure that assigned customers understand the security requirements and standards. This role involves designing and implementing audit strategies for covering the key information security risks across NZTA and the supply chain.

We are looking for a credible and dependable subject matter expert accustomed to dealing with end-to-end delivery of audits in line with the Information Systems Audit Methodology.

We are seeking to appoint at a salary between $156,458 to $199,918 of band commensurate to skills and experience.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.

The Security Assurance Team takes a systematic view of the strategic Cybersecurity Improvement initiatives ensuring value is delivered safely Work collaboratively with peers and other influencers and advisors across NZTA to facilitate change and promote alignment of Security with other functions. Facilitate the appropriate security outcomes consistent with NZTA's strategic objectives to implement the requirements of the Protective Security Requirements (PSR).
