About the role
Reporting to the Planning and Shutdown Manager, you will be responsible for forward weekly planning, scoping, and scheduling all maintenance activities in a dedicated area within the Mill, including supporting plant shutdowns. From resource coordination to Computer Maintenance Management System accuracy, your work will ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective execution of maintenance tasks.
What your typical day will include
- Plan and schedule weekly maintenance and shutdowns, ensuring all tasks are properly scoped and resourced.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and contractors to align schedules with plant priorities and minimise disruption.
- Maintain accuracy in SAP and other systems, ensuring clean data for effective decision-making.
- Create detailed work packs covering technical specification, safety requirements, and resource allocation for seamless execution.
To succeed in this role, you will need a technical background, ideally with a trade qualification or hands-on industry experience. You will be confident using SAP PM or other equivalent software and other planning tools, and understand how to manage work orders, backlogs, and schedules. Along with being detail-focused, highly organised, and great at working with others to get things done. Most importantly, you bring a strong safety mindset and a drive to keep improving how things are done.
