We also have a network of freight hubs throughout the North Island, to improve access to the port for the provinces.
We are recruiting for Casual Marine Team Members to report into the Marine Shift Supervisor.
About the position
- Support the Lead linesmen in their objective to ensure adequate resources are available to support General Duties Persons duties as per customer requirements.
- Provide and maintain ancillary services as required in support for those customers during their visit
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with Maritime regulations, Health & Safety regulations, Company policy and standard operating practices.
- Recognising and highlighting opportunities for improvement within the business to provide efficiencies, cost savings and/or a safer working environment.
- Ensure reviews and drills are carried out as required and according to legislative requirements.
What you will need
- Previous Marine Experience and working within the Port environment would be preferrable
