Ministerial Advisor (Domain Specialist L1) - Mātanga ā-Mahi

Mō te roopu | About the team

Our Ministerial Services Team plays a crucial role in managing Inland Revenue’s requests under the Official Information Act, providing timely, expert advice and support to IR and the Minister of Revenue’s office, and executive leadership team.

The team is tight-knit and supportive, made up of Ministerial Advisors, Senior Advisors and a Principal advisor.
 

Ara Whiwhi Mahi | The Opportunity

This role requires someone who is resilient and agile, can think critically, and strive to achieve quality results whilst meeting tight deadlines.

As a Ministerial Advisor, you will work collaboratively across IR to coordinate, review and create responses to Official Information Act requests, Parliamentary Questions and other written material. You will also work closely with the Minister of Revenue’s office.

You will provide advice and support to IR staff on the Official Information Act and other technical matters. You will be resilient and composed in all situations and be keen to work in a close-knit team.
