About the role | He Aha Te Tūranga

As we continue to grow our impact across Aotearoa, we’re looking for a dynamic and strategic National Manager – Group to lead and evolve our Group distribution channel.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a critical portfolio and contribute directly to the success of nib NZ. You’ll play a key role in driving our Payer to Partner (P2P) strategy, building enduring commercial relationships, and delivering innovative, sustainable growth across our Group business.
As the National Manager – Group, you will:
  • Drive strategic and operational planning for the Group channel, leading initiatives that enhance retention, engagement, and growth
  • Build strong, strategic partnerships, positioning nib as the Group partner of choice
  • Lead a high-performing team with clear purpose, accountability and a strong focus on customer outcomes
  • Manage key client relationships from contract negotiation through to seamless onboarding and service delivery
  • Champion continuous improvement, ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, and contribute to broader organisational goals as a member of the leadership team
About you | Ko Wai Koe
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally within the insurance or financial services industry
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to implement and operationalise growth initiatives
  • Extensive experience in account management, sales project delivery, and contract negotiation
  • Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with a history of delivering sustainable revenue growth and managing P&L outcomes
  • A collaborative leadership style and ability to influence across diverse internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Cultural agility and an appreciation for diverse perspectives and communities
