About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and innovative Senior Registered Nurse for the role of Nurse Educator, Orthopaedics and Surgical Services, Te Toka Tumai.
The Orthopaedic Department is a leading trauma centre, with our nursing staff having a breadth of experience in caring for people within the scope of multi-trauma and elective orthopaedic specialities. Te Tok Tumai, Auckland is one of the largest tertiary hospitals in the Auckland region with more than 30 operating theatres, over a third of which cover adult orthopaedic surgeries of all kinds.
In this challenging and rewarding position and you will have the opportunity to further develop your great organisational skills and put your well-grounded clinical practice experience to good use. You will get to work collaboratively and innovatively within the Orthopaedic team and will assess and deliver on learning needs.

About You
To hit the ground running in this role it would be advantageous if you had,
Minimum of 3-4 years clinical experience within Surgical Services, within Orthopaedic services
- Preferably with a post graduate certificate / diploma in speciality nursing practice
- Proven teaching skills
- Promotion and encouragement of a multicultural workforce
