Argus Fire Protection is a well-known company with over 40 years' experience in the fire protection industry. The company covers all aspects, including fire system design, installation, and ongoing testing and maintenance of fire systems.

Waikato currently has a vacancy for a highly motivated, proactive, and innovative individual to take on the position of Office Administrator, reporting to the branch manager.

The role is multi-angled and requires an experienced candidate to work within the team completing service and project sales invoicing, and administration is just the surface of this role. Days will consist of working across accounts, finance, data entry, project assistance, health and safety, and much more. Great communication skills across all levels of the business are a must to help grow and develop the wider team.

We are seeking a high performer with a strong work ethic and self-motivation with a positive, "can-do, will-do" approach, and a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate.

If you are this person, then you will be required to demonstrate:

  • NZ residency with a minimum of 5 years of New Zealand work experience

  • Experience in the fire protection industry or construction (highly regarded)

  • Administration experience with relation to delivering projects in the fire industry or a building-related industry (highly regarded)

  • Financial understanding, with relation to projects and service, WIP and cost of sales.

  • Ability to get along with a wide range of people to help manage a branch environment.

  • Experience in customer service

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office including Excel.

  • Knowledge and understanding of NZ Health and Safety

  • Tertiary qualifications (highly regarded)
