What you’ll be doing


This is a Part-time position, working a Wednesday to Saturday roster, 4pm to midnight

As a Duty Manager in a Kmart Aotearoa store you will:

To be successful in this role you’ll have:


  • Experience as a kaiwhakahaere (manager) across either a big box or high-volume retail environment
  • A passion for delivering results that will inspire and motivate your rōpū (team)
  • Experience coaching and leading large and diverse teams
  • Ngā uara (values) that reflect a strong commitment to haumaru (safety), always thinking about the kiritaki (customer), and a belief in encouraging your team to whakatōmene ake (reach higher) every day
  • The ability to foster strong relationships with team members, peers, customers and leaders
