About the Role

The Sector Operations Team is central to the funding of Health services in Aotearoa. Spread across three locations, our people come from a wide range of backgrounds, but all have great customer service in common.

As a Payments Officer, you will be our community member's first impression when they contact Health New Zealand for support around health payments. You'll be part of a team of professionals who will help you to be the best you can be. At the end of each day, you'll go home knowing you've made a genuine difference to our community. We also have great flexible working options available which include being able to split your work time between the office and home.

This role is a great introduction to the wider Health Sector for those interested in a career in health.

Understanding of basic financial concepts is a bonus, but we can assist you to develop on the job. Most importantly you are a great communicator who is confident with people from all walks of life.
