Make a real impact: Become part of our vision to eliminate Family Violence and Sexual Violence in Aotearoa New Zealand

Are you ready to be part of something bigger? We are a unit with a significant system role, working across government to take collective action against family violence and sexual violence.

We steward the family violence and sexual violence system and drive realisation of the cross-agency strategy—Te Aorerekura. We work in partnership with communities across Aotearoa New Zealand, placing survivors, families, and whānau at the heart of everything we do.

Te Haeata/The Opportunity

This role will support the assessment of investment in family and sexual violence and support the identification of opportunities for how this might be orientated to support future change, developing options and assessing the impact of these on the family violence and sexual violence system for how we might contract differently and social investment approaches.

This is a high profile and important piece of work and forms an integral part of our new Te Aorerekura Action Plan under the Investing and Commissioning Well priority focus area. It will help us identify how we make effective decisions about where and how Government invests to improve outcomes for victims / survivors and those impacted by violence.

Working alongside the Manager for Strategy, Investment and Performance you will support the implementation of the Investing and Commissioning Well programme, working in and assisting project teams to identify, assess and develop options and recommendations for investment.

This will include working to ensure strategic alignment with cross action plan priorities; identifying how and where community and family violence and sexual violence sector needs are incorporated; identifying opportunities to do things differently to drive change; and supporting projects to identify and manage their risks, issues and stakeholders.
