Mo te tūranga | About the Role:

We have an opening for a Project Coordinator to join our Delivery Practice. At ASB, we're all about doing what we can to help our customers get "One Step Ahead" by giving them the tools they need to manage their lives and plans for their families and future. Our products and services underpin our economy and touch people's daily lives. The Delivery Practice is a team that works across all areas of delivery, for example Business Analysis, Change Management, and Project Management. These areas form communities within the Practice that support initiatives across ASB, helping us work in a modern way, and cultivating happy customer experiences through change and transformation. We're doing a variety of initiatives right across all of ASB, so depending on your background, you'll have the opportunity to provide project support in the areas of compliance, product enhancements, or business transformation, including new features or changes in systems and processes.

As a Project Coordinator, you'll be key in ensuring our project initiatives and roadmap deliverables are well organised, scheduled, tracked and coordinated. You'll also support to get an understanding of what needs to be delivered and how, and help coordinate project delivery by following our ASB Delivery Framework. Your day will be a mix of supporting the administration of all aspects of project management, tracking and updating key project deliverables like the maintenance of schedules, project finances, meeting minutes, actions, risk and issues registers… so you'll help ensure all project information is current and organised.

Mōu |About you:

Ideally, you will have project coordination experience. This may include several projects or larger programmes of work. You will have completed some foundational project management or delivery training, be familiar with workflow tools such as ADO or Jira, and be thoroughly competent with MS 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Project, Visio).

You love interacting with people, and demonstrate great skills in gathering, capturing and visualizing information. It is a busy role where you will need to be well organised and able to manage competing priorities. Excellent attention to detail is also required. Your mind-set will be a mix of growth, caring and collaboration, as this will help you build warm relationships with a variety of people, spot challenges and enable you to grow your career in projects and the Delivery Practice.
