As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our Agile Delivery Squad, ensuring our platform capabilities not only meet, but exceed expectations. You won’t just test—you’ll innovate, automate, and elevate our quality standards. As part of the FSNI QA Practice, you’ll help shape best practices and push the boundaries of what’s possible in testing. Ready to make an impact? Let’s build something amazing together!  What you’ll do-      Own the quality – Collaborate with your squad to embed excellence at every stage of development. -      Think beyond testing – Design and execute high-impact test plans that tackle complex business and technical challenges. -      Automate like a pro – Build and enhance cutting-edge test automation frameworks, driving an automation-first mindset. -      Be a quality evangelist – Lead improvements, influence best practices, and drive innovation across FSNI’s QA Practice. -      Deliver value – Identify and resolve defects, optimise test environments, and proactively ensure flawless product releases.  If you’re passionate about pushing boundaries, pioneering new ways to test, and delivering world-class digital experiences, we want to hear from you!

Your ability to communicate technical concepts effectively allows you to engage with stakeholders across the business, advocating for quality at every stage.
What you’ll bring:Expertise in Test Planning - A strong ability to interpret user stories and requirements to develop targeted micro and macro test plans, incorporating pragmatic test scenarios and reusable automation scripts that drive efficient and effective validation.Collaborative Problem Solving - A consistent approach to working closely with squad members—including Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners—to proactively identify and resolve gaps in understanding or requirements, ensuring alignment and shared clarity.Sound Judgment in Test Scope - The capability to apply situational awareness and technical insight to extend testing into non-functional areas (e.g. performance, security) when appropriate, ensuring comprehensive coverage and system resilience.Technical Proficiency in Automation - Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality automated test code using frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, and BDD, with hands-on skills in Java SpringBoot, TypeScript, and NodeJS.CI/CD Pipeline Expertise - Practical knowledge in building, configuring, and maintaining continuous integration pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, and GitHub Actions—ensuring test reliability, stability, and consistently green pipelines.Clear and Actionable Reporting - The ability to produce clear, traceable automated test execution reports that highlight test coverage and requirement completeness, supporting informed decision-making and continuous improvement.Structured Defect Management - A disciplined approach to reporting and tracking software defects in line with established workflows, contributing to efficient resolution and overall product quality.
Required Skills:-      5+ years of professional experience with hands-on delivery of test automation design and development in a full-stack environment.-      Strong experience with automating against web applications, mobile applications, and microservices-      Strong programming skills in at least one of the following OOP languages: Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS-      Strong experience with implementing and utilising any of the following common automation frameworks: Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Playwright, Cypress, WebDriver.io, Appium-      Experience in managing automated testing artefacts using common Test Management toolsets (i.e. Jira, Xray, Zephyr, qTest, ADO, ALM, etc.)
