Your Opportunity
We have a new opportunity for a Quality Inwards Officer to join our team of dedicated Quality Control professionals, based full time at Penrose. This role is all about ensuring raw and packaging materials comply with our documented quality management system to ensure that we release product fit for purpose to the market. Reporting to the Quality Control Team Leader you will be working closely with the Inwards, Inventory, Procurement, Planning, and Quality Assurance teams.
We would expect this person to be an early bird, starting work between 7:00am - 8:30am to be around whilst our Day Shift is in progress.
Key responsibilities:
- Sampling of raw and packaging materials and finished goods.
- Ensuring that incoming documentation such as CoAs and MPI-related documents (e.g. EDs) are correct.
- Ensuring that master packing material standards are maintained.
- Releasing materials.
- Preparation of Reject Reports and Return to Supplier Reports.
- Supporting with Quality Assurance tasks relating to production documentation.
To be successful you must have:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Good computer skills - proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Great communication skills
- Commitment to health and safety in the workplace
- Physically capable to manage the manual handling requirements of the role – maneuvering of items up to 25kg.
