  • This role is part-time, 32 hours per week, with flexibility to negotiate your workdays and hours with your manager.
  • Salary of $100,000 to $110,000 depending on skills and experience

Mō te tūnga | About the role

As our Service Development Lead, you'll shape and improve how IHC delivers services across Aotearoa, driving change that enhances life for people with intellectual disabilities. You'll work with teams and business units to review, challenge, and refine processes and systems, delivering measurable, lasting results.

You'll lead projects aligned with IHC's strategy, design and embed new initiatives, and guide teams through change management. From analysing data and creating actionable reports to coaching staff in best practice, you will draw on expertise in supporting people with intellectual disability and blend strategic thinking with hands-on leadership to make a real impact in their lives.


Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring

  • Proven project management experience, including implementing new systems or processes.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and change management.
  • Experience in health or disability service delivery, ideally with experience working directly with people with intellectual disability.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and mentoring skills to support teams through change.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Confidence with digital tools, including Microsoft Office.
  • An understanding of the principles Enabling Good Lives and confidence in supporting others to apply those principles in practice.
