About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Sales Insight Analyst to join our team, reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager. In this role, you will help drive the strategic success of our sales and marketing teams by ensuring they have the right insight at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyse and share relevant insight from the market to ensure an up-to-date understanding of the current trading environment
- Work closely with sales and product management staff to identify opportunities to improve business performance
- Assist in the development of sales and marketing strategies, using data and insight to drive the right conversation
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on the use of BI tools
About You:
Ideal candidates will have a background in data and insights, with an understanding of sales. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career and turn data into insights and action. This is a proactive role waiting for someone who can work with a wide range of stakeholders, understand their challenges and opportunities and provide the insight required to improve business outcomes. Your ability to communicate insight and provide advice is just as important as your technical skills in analysing data.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Mathematics, Marketing or Sales related discipline
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a data insights role
- Experienced in SQL/ R/ Python/ Tableau
- Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office (365) suite of products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams & SharePoint
- Proven ability to conduct data analytics and advanced modelling
- The ability to translate complex information into actionable insights
- Strong commercial acumen
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Experience in working with AI automation tools in a business environment
- Experience in the agricultural and/or manufacturing industry
- Previous experience with primary research
