About the Role
As the Senior Advisor, you will work alongside the Project Leaders and the Programme Director to ensuring the preparation of high-quality advice and reporting is developed and strengthens the approach and implementation of the projects within the programme.
You will contribute to the professional leadership and accountability of the HSS Implementation Programme as well as develop high-quality internal and external reports, and Government responses that develop and communicate the Programme.
About the Team & Service
The Hospital funding team is responsible at national level for planning, strategy, performance, outsourcing, and data and analytics. Our aim is to improve health outcomes for all New Zealanders by using evidence, data insights and clinical advice to plan, fund, monitor and improve nationwide health services.
We have a strong leadership role in national planning and performance against key outcome measures including Government's health targets. Our programmes are informed by engagement with, and leadership from, clinicians, sector experts, service providers, people with lived experience, communities and families.
About you
You will have experience with preparing advice and reports both internally and externally. You will be able to develop effective working relationships and actively contribute as a key project team member to the development of the implementation programmes.
You will have:
- A relevant graduate and post-graduate qualification.
- Working knowledge of the Government Sector and the delivery of Government priorities.
- Experience in working with programmes that support service delivery improvement.
