Who are we looking for?
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Communications Advisor to join our team. This role is key to the development of Technical Services strategies, business plans, and effective communication and engagement across the enterprise.
Working with an energetic and high-performing team, you will:
- Conduct research and analysis to prepare the development of briefing materials, reports, and presentations to the TSLT, TSLG, Executive Leadership Team, and the Board.
- Provide strategic support to the EGM to deliver the Technical Services Business Plan and Enterprise Technical Services portfolio management plan, half-yearly reports, board reports, and quarterly risk reports.
- Coordinate and manage the preparation and distribution of TSLT and TSLG’s meeting agendas, pre-reads, determining meeting cadence (with EA support), producing accurate and concise minutes, action resolution, and conducting follow-ups.
- Prepare and implement administrative processes and systems improvements, including managing relevant communication channels (MS Teams, Global Technical Services Viva Engage), templates, and annual calendar of activities.
- Provide strategic guidance for key Technical Services portfolio initiatives as required, including leading coordination, implementation, communication, and running of working groups.
- Undertake ad hoc analysis and review of materials from related Enterprise functions such as Clients & Markets, Learning, Quality and Risk, Delivery Transformation, Technical Applications, and sustainability.
- Develop internal communications including through Executive communications and memorandums on behalf of the EGM, working closely with the Internal Communications Advisor – Technical Services.
What you will bring to the team:
- Up to 5 years’ experience providing secretariat and communication support to executive teams or advisory committees.
- Relevant bachelor’s qualification in communication, business, or arts.
- Qualification or member of a relevant professional association e.g. Governance Institute or willingness to become a member.
- Proven ability with technology-enabled solutions and timely delivery of actions/tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong experience in writing and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
