About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hybrid delivery model, understands technical platforms, and can navigate both Agile and traditional methodologies to drive meaningful, scalable change.
You’ll be a key player in shaping the transformation of our core technology platforms – delivering change that enables better business outcomes while future-proofing our systems.
You will work as part of customer centric and collaborative team, working with a range of ACC and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes and value for our customers. By focusing on evidence, and working in collaboration, we’re driving innovation to improve lives for generations to come.
There are fixed term opportunities that range from 10 - 12 months and based in Wellington.
About you | Mōu
What we are looking for from you to be successful in this role:
- Have previous technical BA experience, working closely with technical teams, Architects, Product Owners and Delivery Leads to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements,
- Experienced in business requirements elicitation and analysis, and delivering agile and hybrid features through documenting user stories,
- Well-rounded and comfortable working in both business and technical domains to draw requirements and potential solutions, experience with platforms like Oracle and ServiceNow advantageous.
- A high standard of business writing skills,
- Facilitate discovery workshops, process mapping and stakeholder interviews to define business problems and opportunities,
- Proactively supporting and driving the delivery of the vision and solution forward,
- Collaborating with your team and cross-teams to support the work,
- At least 5 years Business Analysis experience,
- Experience in a hybrid environment is advantageous but experience in multiple methodologies welcome (Agile, Waterfall and blended approaches), and
- Jira and Confluence toolset experience is necessary.

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $101,287 and $142,993 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution. ACC offer a comprehensive benefits package, including an advantageous superannuation scheme with features like 0% contribution required by you, optional life and income protection insurance, and the flexibility to change to a locked plan at any time, ensuring your financial security now and in retirement.
