The impact you'll make:
As a Senior Consultant you will apply your in-depth knowledge of accounting advisory principles by,
- Providing practical and pragmatic accounting solutions for unique client challenges
- Preparing, reviewing and improving complex IFRS and PBE IPSAS financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Enhancing finance functions by improving processes and performance
- Supporting clients through disruptive events (such as M&A, divestments)
- Assisting clients with sustainability and performance reporting
- Having the opportunity to genuinely help our clients, particularly through the audit process
- Bringing your point of view and energy to the team
Qualifications
Your expertise:
- Full membership or working towards CA (or equivalent) with (3 to 5) years of experience from Big 4 environment, or industry.
- Strong technical accounting expertise, including knowledge of IFRS / PBE IPSAS.
- Demonstrated expertise in compiling general purpose and special purpose financial statements, including detailed knowledge of New Zealand Accounting Standards and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Self-motivated, client-focused, and results-driven with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Authentic, driven by excellence in what you do, and committed to delivering innovative solutions for our clients.
- Solving problems for clients motivates you and you enjoy working in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- Is analytical, curious, and willing to learn, always seeking to stay ahead of industry changes.
