Join our growing technical consulting team working across New Zealand, Australia, and internationally in the energy and renewable power sector. You’ll be involved in diverse projects spanning transmission, solar PV, wind (onshore/offshore), battery storage, hydrogen, and pumped hydro. This role offers you the opportunity to lead and deliver cutting-edge renewable energy assignments, from concept through to design.

The Opportunity

  • Support the preparation of bids and proposals for local and international opportunities.
  • Represent Arup at client meetings, industry events, and potentially lead workshops or knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and oversight to junior team members and support their professional development.

Is this role right for you?

  • A degree in electrical engineering with 6–10 years of relevant industry experience, ideally in renewables or utilities.
  • Proven experience in relevant software, power systems, and knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly across a wide range of projects and technologies.
  • A collaborative attitude with a desire to grow both technical and commercial expertise in a multidisciplinary environment.

  • What we offer you
