About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Sales and located in Penrose, Auckland, we are on the hunt for a dynamic Senior Key Account Manager to join our team. In this pivotal new role, you will be responsible for managing, nurturing, and expanding high-value client relationships, driving revenue growth through strategic account management. This position demands a deep understanding of client needs, strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to act as a vital liaison between internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Strategic Account Plans: Craft and execute comprehensive strategies to maximise account growth and client satisfaction.
- Build and Maintain Strong Relationships: Foster and sustain robust relationships with key high-value clients, ensuring their long-term loyalty and satisfaction.
- Customise Services and Solutions: Tailor our services and solutions to precisely meet the unique needs of each client.
- Address and Resolve Client Issues Promptly: Act swiftly to identify and resolve any client issues, ensuring a seamless and positive client experience.
- Conduct Regular Reviews of Client Accounts: Perform periodic reviews to assess account performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and Present Compelling Proposals and Tender Documents: Develop and deliver persuasive proposals and tender documents that effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Negotiate Contracts and Pricing: Skilfully negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of services and solutions.
Qualifications, skills and experience
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in key account management at a senior level ideally within the health sector.
- Track Record: Proven success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Performance Driven: Activity, revenue, KPI, and commission driven.
- Presentation Skills: Experience presenting to senior leadership and Boards.
- Tendering and Proposals: Highly skilled at developing and delivering effective tenders and proposals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sales and Negotiation: Strong sales and negotiation skills
