Step into a pivotal role as Senior LIMS Administrator, where your expertise in Applications Support Analysis and System Development will keep our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) running at its best. You’ll solve complex problems, deliver smart solutions, and help shape the future of food quality and safety in Aotearoa.
This is a full-time permanent position to commence in September or October. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday and start anytime between 7am and 9am.
You will have the option to be based at one of our offices in Auckland (Blockhouse Bay or Mt Wellington), Wellington (Gracefield), or Christchurch (Burnside) on a hybrid basis. Occasionally this role may require some travel to our other key offices in NZ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead incident and issue management when required.
- A range of tasks geared towards software development and LIMS system support.
- Conduct business-as-usual tasks and project work.
- Problem solve, analyse, user centric design and technical form design & build.
- Deliver value to the business by working with other IT teams, stakeholders, business analysts and the other LIMS Development team members in an agile manner.
Key Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification in IT, plus a desire to pursue a career in IT will be advantageous.
- Prior experience in an Applications Support Analyst role or working in a Commercial Laboratory environment, using LabWare or another LIMS.
- Strong computer literacy plus a friendly and professional phone & email manner.
- Good analytical and methodical problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to be productive working unsupervised.
