We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Trainer to join us within our Infrastructure and Digital Assets group to support Corrections' strategic goals through design and delivery of learning solutions and advice to people who use our IT systems.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about producing engaging and effective educational resources in an IT environment. You'll enjoy both businesses as usual and project environments and you'll be able to contribute throughout the learning solution lifecycle including needs analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation of training and resources.

You'll have a natural ability to connect with any audience including front-line staff, subject matter experts, project teams, managers, and peers. You'll be comfortable working with groups face to face, assisting remotely and working independently to develop resources.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • A very strong customer service ethic and an ability to create people-centric applications education
  • Experience of applying adult learning and educational techniques
  • The ability to learn large and complex IT systems and explain how they work to others
  • Willingness to contribute to projects and influence others
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • A current Driver's License (Class 1) and be able to be away from home overnight on occasion as some travel around New Zealand is required.

Utu a-tau | Salary

The midpoint of the salary range is $124,758 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $106,045 - $149,710 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
