About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional leader to join our team looking after the Oral Health Service in Te Tai Tokerau. This role will work with senior management, clinical directors and Oral Health Advisor to provide a high-quality cost-effective patient centred service for the community and their whanau requiring these services.
Key aspects of this role include:
- Responsibility of hospital, community, and mobile clinics
- Coordination and management of the delivery of oral health care
- Oversight of FSAs and Gas for oral health with surgical services
- Assist with coordination of oral health care in the community
- Administration roles associated directly with this directorate
As this role supports teams across Te Tai Tokerau, travel across the rohe will be required in this role.

About the Team/Service/Location
This role will report to the General Manager of the Rural, Family and Community Directorate and be an integral member of the leadership team.

About you
This position requires excellent relationship building, communication and collaboration skills, and an understanding of change management and conflict resolution. You will have demonstrable delivery of effective healthcare services as a senior manager in a multifaceted healthcare environment including staff management, financial management and change management.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of workforce groups and develop your knowledge and skills within the healthcare setting environment.
- Leadership/Management Qualification
- Current and full NZ driver’s licence
- An appropriate clinical qualification and project management experience is desired
