Who we’re looking for:

The Settlements & Compliance Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vehicle lease settlements, while upholding compliance with internal policies, financier requirements, and regulatory obligations.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Prepare and submit finance applications in accordance with internal service level agreements and financier requirements.
  • Place vehicle orders with dealerships and proactively manage the order pipeline to ensure timely delivery and accurate tracking.
  • Ensure all lease settlements comply with approved credit policies, approval conditions, and internal and financier guidelines.
  • Review and confirm all legal documentation is accurately executed and meets compliance requirements, including regulatory, financier, and internal policy standards.
  • Prepare and process settlements within required timeframes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance at all stages.
  • Manage and prioritise the settlement workflow to meet deadlines and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Compile and distribute monthly reporting related to settlement volumes, compliance metrics, and workflow status.
  • Oversee the vehicle non-compliance escalation programme, including investigation, stakeholder communication, and resolution tracking.
  • Support and contribute to the continuous improvement of settlement and compliance processes, including identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
  • Participate in internal and external audits by providing requested documentation, supporting responses, and ensuring process transparency.
  • Manage the end-to-end novation process, coordinating the transfer of lease agreements between legal entities while ensuring legal and financial accuracy.
  • Coordinate and execute Sale and Leaseback transactions, including document preparation, settlement execution, and compliance validation.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong numeracy skills, with a focus on data accuracy and document integrity.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively to meet tight deadlines and service level targets.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word (intermediate to advanced level).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with internal teams, external suppliers, and financiers.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
