Ko wai mātou | About Us

Nau mai, haere mai ki Te Kura

At Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura), our ākonga are at the centre of what we do. For more than a century, we've supported learners across Aotearoa — evolving from lessons once delivered on horseback to today's lessons delivered online and in person, including to learners overseas.

With up to 28,000 ākonga at any one time, Te Kura is New Zealand's largest school and a leading provider of distance education. We deliver personalised learning programmes from early childhood through to NCEA Level 3, including for young adult and adult learners.

Ki te tī, ki te tā, ki te katoa – Anytime, anywhere, anyone.
