The Role

We are looking to recruit a Storeperson with experience in despatch to join our East Tamaki warehouse on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the primary responsibilities will be in the despatch division and includes:
- Picking and packing orders in a timely manner, to a high level of accuracy
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork is processed accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring orders are transported to the client in line with company procedures and/or as client request
- Observes correct manual handling techniques when packing orders
About You
To be successful you will have:
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Hands on approach and a collaborative orientation to drive team culture
- High motivation levels to be self-managed, working without direct supervision
- Strong attention to detail, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a warehousing operation within a high-volume environment (advantageous)
- Strong communication and customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers
- The ability to follow existing procedures and adapt to new procedures to ensure timely delivery of objectives
Desired skills
- Current forklift license
