The opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Strategic Change and Performance Manager to join our team in Auckland.
Manage change at an enterprise level.
Newly created role – build our change management capability.
Your new role
You’ll work closely with the Head of Delivery to lead the development of a sophisticated change management capability across the organisation. In this strategic role, you’ll drive the development and implementation of change management strategies that align with transformational initiatives and key programmes of work within the division.
A critical part of your remit will be tracking and reporting progress against the strategic roadmap, ensuring transparency and alignment. You’ll also play a pivotal role in coaching, mentoring, and engaging employees to build performance and change capability across teams. In addition, your responsibilities will include:
Lead the development of the change management approach based on the Division business strategy and change portfolio.
Engage and shape the business change strategy with senior executives/sponsors.
Ensure that projects follow the defined change management processes and standards.
Input plans and monitor project performance metrics to ensure accurate analysis and alignment with business outcomes.
Ensure strategic programme progress is visually represented and communicated regularly to key stakeholders.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and concerns across programs.
Perform leadership activities to drive culture and performance for agile teams.

About you
You’ll bring elevated critical thinking and strong commercial acumen, with the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels. In addition, you’ll have:
Proven experience leading value-based transformations across business, technology, and data.
Extensive experience engaging with C-level executives and navigating complex, high-stakes conversations.
A strong track record of managing stakeholder engagement, financials, and value delivery in complex environments.
Demonstrated success in leading multi-service program delivery within insurance or financial services sectors is preferred.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Industry-recognised accreditation in Change Management.
