Due to growth in the region, Our Energy and Utilities business is seeking experienced Distribution Supervisors to join our teams based in Paeroa. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be leading a highly skilled team of Line Mechanics, Electricians and other field crew providing services including construction, maintenance, and fault diagnosis/rectification across the Central & North Valley region. Taking ownership of our Faults Response, you will coordinate and oversee restoring vital electricity services for our communities across the South Waikato and Central Valley regions ensuring services are restored as quickly as possible whilst maintaining the highest safety standards.
As a proven leader, highly experienced in the Distribution sector, you will quickly gain the respect of your crews and credibility with our clients. You will have proven ability to monitor performance and motivate your team to deliver within timeframes and budgets with a focus on quality and safety.
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
- Relevant EWRB Registration and current Practising licence (preferred, but not essential)
- Full NZ Class 1 Driver's License
- Previous experience in the Electricity Distribution industry, including high voltage and overhead work with experience leading crews
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor and motivate your team to deliver within time and budget while maintaining a focus on quality and safety.
