About the Role
Medical Imaging Technologist, Diagnostic Imaging with CT experience or an interest in CT Training.
If you are a dynamic MIT with MRTB registration, a current APC in Diagnostic Imaging and CT experience or an interest in CT training then Taupo Hospital could be the choice for you.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Taupo Hospital Radiology Department consists of one x-ray room, a Digital mobile unit and a Toshiba CT scanner. The Taupo Hospital Radiology team is a small friendly team dedicated to providing excellent patient care and a quality general x-ray and CT service. Currently four MITs provide a 24-hour service for general imaging. Rotorua Hospital Radiology Department provides the next level of care for Taupo patients having General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT and MRI. There is opportunity for the successful applicants to have exposure to CT at Rotorua Hospital and CT training will require rotation through the Rotorua CT Department.

About you
The successful candidate will be working in general imaging and CT providing x-ray services for ED, inpatient, outpatient and community referrers. There is a requirement to participate in the afterhours roster. CT experience whilst not essential would be advantageous. The role will involve CT training.
