ROLE SUMMARY:
ACG Strathallan is a leading co-educational, non-denominational, independent school based in Karaka, South Auckland, providing world class education to students from year 0-13. Our preschool Centre is tailored to provide an excellent learning environment for children ages 3 months to 5 years old. We are looking for a NZ registered ECE teacher to join our Reggio inspired Centre at ACG Strathallan Centre for a permanent, full-time position. The applicant must be suitably qualified and NZ registered to be considered. This position is due to commence in August 2025.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach early childhood learning, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.
- Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities of the children.
- Develop excellent relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
- Play based learning environment with a focus on transition to school.
- Participate in wider school activities.
- Ensure children's welfare and safety in every moment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA).
- Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in children and parents.
- Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.
