As Team Leader Corporate Ministerial Services, you'll lead a team of Senior Ministerial Services Advisors responsible for delivering high-quality responses to ministerial service requests across MBIE's Corporate and Digital Shared Services and Strategy and Assurance groups.

You'll play a pivotal role in:

  • ; Providing expert advice on ministerial servicing, including Official Information Act (OIA) requests.
  • ; Building team capability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • ; Liaising with Ministerial offices and acting as a key escalation point.
  • ; Driving consistency, quality, and timeliness in ministerial products and advice.

This is a leadership role where your strategic thinking, relationship management, and public sector expertise will make a real impact.

We're seeking a collaborative and experienced leader who brings:

  • ; In-depth knowledge of ministerial servicing, the OIA, and Ombudsman guidelines.
  • ; Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • ; A strong understanding of the processes that underpin the operations of the public sector environment, including policy development, Cabinet and parliamentary processes, accountability and reporting.
  • ; A strategic and analytical thinker who is able to make connections between various aspects of the organisation and is able to prepare a cohesive approach across an organisation.
  • ; Excellent communication and influencing skills both verbal and written particularly business writing and reporting.
  • ; Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
