The Office of the Chief Justice
Te Tari Toko i te Tumu Whakawā (Te Tari) is seeking a dynamic Team Leader Support Services to join our dedicated team supporting the leadership of New Zealand's highest courts. Reporting to the Deputy Director, Te Tari, you will lead the delivery of high-quality administration and information management services across the business unit. This is a key role providing proactive leadership for office-wide support functions and guiding a team committed to operational excellence.
As Team Leader Support Services, you will develop and implement best-practice approaches to resource planning and service delivery, ensuring support services are effectively aligned with evolving business needs. You will also provide strategic business support and advice to the OCJ leadership team, while fostering continuous improvement across administrative systems and processes.
Ō pūkenga / Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in leading, motivating, and developing teams, including performance planning and coaching.
- Strong background in delivering high-level administrative and support services, including resource planning, health and safety initiatives, and office functions.
- Ability to review, refresh, and improve key administrative processes and service standards across teams.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders.
- High computer literacy (including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and email software).
- Attention to detail, strong time management and planning skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience supporting senior managers and providing sound business support advice.
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Utu ā-tau / Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $84,562 to $116,273 based on skills and experience.
