We are seeking a Utility Arborist to provide Arborist/Vegetation services to ensure the transmission lines and network are reliable. This work is both part of a programme and fault and emergency situations as required working across the central and lower North Island.
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
- Relevant qualification (Arborist Level 4)
- Experienced in vegetation and arborist work
- Physical stamina to carry out arduous manual work, often in trying conditions
Desirable Skills
- Understanding of Land Owner Liaison
- A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements, including overhead distribution systems and of the Electricity (Hazards from Trees) Regulations would be beneficial.
- EWP Operation and Climbing experience
